Each summer, the Fayetteville Police Department receives numerous calls from citizens inquiring as to the validity of sales representatives going door to door selling home security alarms. 

In an effort to assist citizens with protecting themselves from fraud, the Police Department’s Alarm Ordinance Coordinator, along with the False Alarm Reduction Association, (FARA), would like to offer the attached safety tips to citizens.
