The Communications Division

Call The Communications Division of the Fayetteville Police Department serves the citizens of the City of Fayetteville, N.C., which has a population of 174,000. We answer an average of 1,400 9-1-1 and other calls per day and we provide police, fire and first-responder medical service to our community. We also handle all radio communications for the Fayetteville Police and Fire Departments.

As one of our public safety communications professionals, you’ll embark on an exciting career as the primary link between people who desperately need help and the help they seek.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age and have no felony convictions or pending charges and limited misdemeanor convictions. All candidates are subject to a background investigation. This challenging opportunity offers:
