Community ProgramsCommunity Programs are assigned to various units throughout the department. These sworn and non-sworn positions are directed toward community wellness by reducing the fear of crime and hostilities in neighborhoods. These programs provide necessary public service announcements and share information with members of the media to relay accurate facts. The goal of the programs are to educate the public about the Police Department and its various functions.
