Tom Bergamine was named Chief of Police on April 10, 2007. Chief Bergamine is a native of the Bronx, New York and began his career with the Fayetteville Police Department in 1978. He started his career as a patrol officer and has worked his way through the ranks to his current position. Chief Bergamine holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Justice Administration from Methodist University.
