On November  20, 2005; Creg Johnson was found shot to death inside the business where he worked, the Line Up Barber Shop on Yadkin Road. The last time Creg Johnson was seen alive was on the evening of November 19, 2005 while working late with a customer. Creg Johnson was 35 years old at the time when he was murdered.

Creg Johnson died after having been shot five times. It is believed that Johnson may have known the shooter and allowed the suspect into the building. Additionally, the investigation revealed that Creg Johnson attended a private party for a brief period of time on Kelmscot Court, a short distance from the barbershop, during the late afternoon/evening hours just prior to his death on November 19, 2005.

Detectives are requesting that individuals with knowledge of Creg Johnson’s activities in the two week period leading up to his death contact them. Tips leading to an arrest for the murder of Creg Johnson may be eligible for a reward up to $10,000.
